Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enrolment enquiry, making a payment, or attending any Voltcortex programme session, you enter a binding agreement with Voltcortex under these terms.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. Organisations enrolling team members confirm that they have authority to do so on those members' behalf.

These Terms & Conditions are made available on our Website and provided upon request. Continued participation following any published update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

3

Service Description

Voltcortex provides structured educational programmes on GPU accelerator computing and AI workload literacy. Programmes are designed for professional development and are not accredited tertiary qualifications unless explicitly stated.

Current programme offerings include: the Foundations of Accelerator Computing cohort course, the Hands-On Compute Lab for Developers, and the Team Enablement Programme. Descriptions, schedules, and pricing are published on the Website and may be updated periodically.

Programme delivery is primarily conducted from our Bangsar South facility. Certain programmes may incorporate remote participation options where communicated at the time of enrolment. Voltcortex reserves the right to reschedule sessions with reasonable notice if operational circumstances require it.

4

Enrolment & Access

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of a written confirmation from Voltcortex following payment or approved payment arrangement. Submission of an enquiry form does not itself constitute enrolment.

Access to programme materials, recorded recaps, shared lab environments, and supplementary documents is granted to confirmed participants only, for the duration of the programme and a reasonable period thereafter as communicated at enrolment.

Access credentials and shared resources are personal to the enrolled participant and may not be shared with others. Corporate enrolments cover named participants; additional seats require separate enrolment.

5

User Responsibilities

Participants are expected to engage constructively and respectfully with facilitators, fellow participants, and shared resources. The following conduct is not permitted:

  • Reproducing, distributing, or commercially exploiting Voltcortex Content without written permission.
  • Disrupting sessions, shared environments, or other participants' learning experience.
  • Using shared lab environments for purposes unrelated to programme learning objectives.
  • Misrepresenting one's identity, qualifications, or affiliation to Voltcortex or other participants.
  • Recording sessions without prior written consent from Voltcortex.

Voltcortex reserves the right to remove a participant from a programme session if these responsibilities are not upheld, without refund where the breach is attributable to the participant.

6

Intellectual Property

All Content produced by Voltcortex — including course notes, slide decks, sample notebooks, reference sheets, and recorded materials — remains the intellectual property of Voltcortex or its licensed contributors.

Participants are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use programme Content for their own professional development and internal application within their organisation. This licence does not extend to redistribution, publication, resale, or use in training others outside the participant's immediate team.

Work produced by participants using shared lab environments during a programme (such as tuned model code or output notebooks) remains the property of the participant unless built on Voltcortex-proprietary base templates, in which case the Voltcortex licence terms above continue to apply to those base elements.

Foundations of Accelerator Computing

Delivered across four evening sessions over two weeks. Downloadable notes and recorded session recaps are made available to enrolled participants within 48 hours of each session. A glossary of terms is included. Participants are expected to attend at least three of the four sessions to receive the completion acknowledgement.

Hands-On Compute Lab for Developers

The shared environment is available during scheduled lab hours only; Voltcortex does not offer ongoing compute access after programme completion.

Team Enablement Programme

Six weeks with weekly facilitated sessions. Pricing covers a team cohort; the maximum cohort size is communicated at enrolment. A team handbook and closing review are included. The organisation is responsible for ensuring team participants are available for the agreed schedule. Significant changes to team composition after commencement should be notified to Voltcortex in writing.

9

Disclaimers

Programmes are provided for educational and professional development purposes. Voltcortex does not warrant that completing a programme will produce any specific technical outcome, employment result, or system performance improvement.

Content reflects Voltcortex's understanding of accelerator computing at the time of delivery. The field evolves; some information may become superseded by hardware or software advances after delivery. Voltcortex will endeavour to keep materials current but does not commit to retrospective updates for completed cohorts.

Where programmes reference third-party tools, cloud platforms, or vendor documentation, Voltcortex is not affiliated with or endorsed by those vendors unless explicitly stated.

10

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted under Malaysian law, Voltcortex's total liability to any participant for any claim arising from or related to a programme shall not exceed the fee paid by that participant for the specific programme in question.

Voltcortex shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such losses.

Voltcortex is not liable for equipment, hardware, or data loss arising from use of shared lab environments where such loss results from participant action or third-party infrastructure failure beyond Voltcortex's reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Malaysian consumer protection law.

11

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Voltcortex, its staff, and facilitators against any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of programme Content or shared environments, or any conduct during a programme session that causes harm to other participants or third parties. This obligation survives the conclusion of any programme.

12

Termination

Either party may withdraw from the agreement in writing. Participant withdrawal is subject to the cancellation and refund terms in Section 7.

Voltcortex may terminate a participant's access to a programme with immediate effect if the participant breaches Section 5 (User Responsibilities), misuses shared resources, or acts in a manner that disrupts the experience of other participants. In such cases, no fee refund will be provided.

Upon termination, any programme-specific Content licences granted to the departing participant cease, though the participant may retain printed or already-downloaded materials for personal reference under the terms of Section 6.

13

Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by and construed under the laws of Malaysia. In the event of a dispute, both parties will first attempt to resolve the matter informally by written notice to the other party, allowing 14 calendar days for a good-faith response.

If informal resolution does not succeed, either party may refer the matter to mediation through the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) in Kuala Lumpur. Should mediation not resolve the matter, disputes will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

Nothing in this section prevents Voltcortex from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a competent court where necessary to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.

14

General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These terms, together with any enrolment confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede prior discussions on the same subject matter.

Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

Waiver: Failure by Voltcortex to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other.

Assignment: Participants may not assign or transfer their enrolment rights without written consent from Voltcortex. Voltcortex may assign its rights in connection with a business restructure or transfer, provided the rights of enrolled participants are not materially diminished.

Notices: Formal notices should be sent in writing to the contact address below. Routine programme communications may be made by email to the address provided at enrolment.

15

Changes to These Terms

Voltcortex may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be published on the Website with the effective date noted at the top of this page.

Participants enrolled in an active programme at the time of an update will be notified by email at least 14 days prior to the updated terms taking effect for their enrolment. Continued participation after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

For new enrolments, the version of these terms in force at the time of enrolment confirmation applies throughout that programme, unless the participant is notified otherwise.
